They’re up for auction in South Dakota tomorrow, and the auction will be online here. Asking price for a Porsche tractor like that seems to be $20k and up, when I met the seller a few years back he’d sell you a nicely restored one for around $10k. Being on a VW budget, I was eying up a Bungartz tractor powered by an air-cooled VW motor. Pretty badly rusted and steering was frozen, so figured don’t bid more much more than scrap value, ‘case it becomes a “static display” or worse yet lawn art. Not much interest in the Porsches in online bidding, but the VW powered Bungartz is already bid up to $450!
