The R68/3’s gears got liberated today!With a bit of persuasion from dueling torches and a shop made impact screwdriver bit… But that’s SOP for working with old BMWs, where I suspect component fits were calibrated in degrees centigrade of heat for how long to install or release them. That’s a monument to what BMW once was, more an engineering tour de force than a corporation.
But enough serious wrenchin’…This is all about having a good time with good friends and ridin’ and wrenchin’ and BSin’.
